| I can't believe it. The most beautiful voice in the world will never sing again. Luciano Pavarotti has died. He was my favorite recording artist and his music greatly inspired me, I'll greatly miss him.
Please read my indepth blog about this.
| I've made a new blog for myself. I'm still going to update this one with my day-to-day life, but my new one will be for more in-depth things. So please read it if you want to know what I think http://xanga.com/Erizabeff | | |
| My parents are in Thailand right now. They are doing mission work and won't be back until a week from next Thursday. I miss them a lot but I'm having a fantastic time with Ms. Karen. We watched "Bridge to Terabithia," and I must say it was one of the best movies I've seen this year. I half way expected it to be dumb but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend it to anybody and everybody. So, if your in the mood for a good movie, watch that one. Today we're going to see Stardust, I'm really exited because Take That does one of the songs in it. I'm glad that they're getting more recognition here in the States. It's about time! | | |
| I can't believe the last time I updated this was in March. I got busy and then lost the drive for blogging. I kind of feel like I've been living in obscurity during the last few months. I missed my outlet, my place to vent. I think I'll blog more regularly now. A lot of things have changes, for one I'm now sixteen, and I have a job. I've changed my favorite band from Fleetwood Mac to the Beatles. (I'm seriously obsessed with them, it's not even funny.) It's been so long since I last wrote I'm not even sure what to say. Well, as for my job I'm now working as a website designer and I've made $200 on one job so far. (I got ripped out about $175.) I enjoy my work and the pay is good, me being a student and all. I'm currently working on another job which promised to have at least $200. I'll be way ticked if I'm ripped off again because this job is for family. (Or should I feel the opposite?) Do you remember my second dog Boudin? Well, we had to give him away this May. I miss him desperately, I wasn't present when we gave him to the other family (I was in Texas) so to me it feels a bit like he's died. I just can't get my head around the idea that right now at this very moment he's curled up in bed with some child I've never met. In my mind this people who look him are like faceless, voiceless phantoms. Like they don't really exist, you know? It's disturbing. To me it's like Boudin has disappeared, like he's ceased to exist. I know I'm probably rambling now but I just need to get this out. People say that loosing a pet is like loosing a family member. They are absolutely right. Well, my sister is calling me to go play Final Fantasy XII. (I know, I know. I'm bad for not having finished it yet.) Love to you all, -Nevi

| | Currently Watching Marie Antoinette By Kirsten Dunst, Marianne Faithfull, Steve Coogan, Clara Braiman, M?lodie Berenfeld, Judy Davis, Jason Schwartzman, Rose Byrne, Al Weaver, Shirley Henderson, Molly Shannon, Rip Torn, Jean-Christophe Bouvet, Io Bottoms, C?line Sallette, Andr? Oumansky, Asia Argento, Guillaume Gallienne, Aurore Cl?ment, Jean-Paul Scarpitta see related | I've just finished watching "Marie Antoinette." Honestly, it was much better than I had anticipated. I thought that the director/writer, wrote both Marie and Louis in sympathetic eyes. Which is very unusual for a portrayal of Louis, as he is often viewed as dimwitted and dull. In this picture he was shown as he was in life, insecure, naive and young. I also liked how the emphasis on on Marie's lover was toned down. Often such things are over dramatized. The costumes were absolutely fantastic, but I don't think the actors wore them that well. The rock music that was thrown in here and there was quite irksome, but not enough to make me loath the movie entirely. Aside from the minor plot and musical flaws the movie was quite enjoyable. I also watched "Little Miss Sunshine" today. It was cute but I personally don't think it was worthy of the Oscar nomination it scored.
In regards to the rest of my life in between the last post, I've been good. I'm still under the weather, but not bedridden as I was in my last entry. Oh yes, and if you see anyone posting crap in my comments, it's just some idiot who hacked one of my friend's account. Honestly, whoever you are, check yourself into rehab. -Nevi
